Raices y Futuro: 40 Years of Latine Advocacy in Healthcare
On behalf of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)-West, we invite you to join us for the 40th Annual LMSA-West Regional Conference on April 5th-7th, 2024, hosted at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

Join us on Saturday, April 6th, for a full day of workshops, seminars, and keynote speakers and gain valuable leadership skills and career development while learning about issues facing the Latinx community. We welcome students of all levels—high school, pre-health undergraduate or recent graduate, and medical students—to participate in our conference.

On Saturday evening, we will have our LMSA West Gala to honor our fourth-year medical students and the accomplishments of our chapters and members.

If you want to receive your stole by the LMSA-West regional Conference on April 6 and 7th please submit a request for your serape and/or stole by MARCH 8th, 2024. If this deadline is missed you will still have a chance to order your serape/stole from LMSA National.
Submit an Abstract
The LMSA West Regional Conference at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine is excited to host a poster presentation to celebrate your research!
To highlight your work, please submit a short abstract, 500-word limit, of your poster below. If your abstract is accepted, you will be able to share your poster during the poster/exhibitor fair during the conference. You will be provided an easel/poster space. Posters should be no larger than 48 x 48 inches.
Notifications of acceptance will be on a rolling basis. Please be aware that LMSA/ David Geffen School of Medicine will not be printing your poster, and is something that you need to bring to the conference. Having an abstract accepted does not automatically provide you with a conference ticket. You will still need to purchase your ticket to the conference.
